About Me
I’m Innocent Stephen Katsache, widely recognized by the moniker Inno Katz, a name I adopted as a hallmark for my creative endeavors. In a world where the limbic part of the brain is a central element for decision-making, I tell stories to influence better decisions through the power of vicarious expression and the Greek ideologies of catharsis.
Since 2016, I have dedicated myself to mastering the art of storytelling, utilizing various mediums to convey compelling narratives. My roles include Filmmaker, Theatre for Development Practitioner, Film and Stage Drama Director, Scriptwriter, Playwright, Poet, Author, and Communication Consultant.
I specialize in creating social and behavior change communication content for mass media. Over the years, I have written, produced, and directed radio and television soap operas, talk shows, documentaries, and magazine programs that highlight crucial issues to shape thoughts, ignite conversations, and call the masses to action for national development.
My storytelling journey has taken me to diverse environments. I have written screenplays for independent movies aired on local channels and Zambezi Magic, DSTV’s regional channel for Southern Africa. As a professional actor, I have featured in several stage plays by the Chancellor College Travelling Theatre and a television drama series produced by the Story Workshop Education Trust.
